What Transportation Makes Possible
Peter is a veteran who said he had not gone on a social outing outside his nursing home in eight years. After his wife died, he rarely felt like going out. On a recent ride, he and his friend Katherin spent the day at the Biltmore House and gardens.
Naudikah went to the fair because her friends from adult day care were going. She cannot ride the rides herself, but she wanted to be with them and watch them ride. Mary Ellen, her caregiver, went with her.
