What do you do?

We give rides in a mobility van for people who cannot drive or use the bus. We are a shared, reservation-based service, helping promote social connection and independence.

Who qualifies for a ride?

Anyone who lives in Buncombe or Madison Counties and is either a senior (age 60 or older) orย a person with a physical disability.

What counts as a physical disability?

A physical disability is something that affects a person’s ability to move. This includes difficulty walking, climbing stairs, or needing equipment like a walker, wheelchair, or power chair.

Where do you go?

We provide rides for trips that start and end within the areas shown below. This includes Arden, Asheville, Barnardsville, Candler, Leicester, Mars Hill, Marshall, Swannanoa, and Weaverville.

How is this service free?

Our service is funded by community donations and Buncombe County grants.

When can I schedule a ride?

Fill out a Ride Request or call (828) 222-0253.

Please request rides at least 24 hours in advance. Priority is given to those who need mobility van service most.
